Today Dr.Chin introduce to us about BLENDSPACE. She said we will use Blendspace for our third assignment which we will do it in group. So i have sign in my Blendspace just now. It is so interesting that Dr.Chin showed us on how to use it. However we must explore it by ourselves. It is because we have to finished class early (because Dr. have thing is inevitable outside).

So we take this free time to discuss in group on what to do in assignment 3.

4th CLASS

Today we have individual presentation about 3 web in Early Childhood Education. 6 of 8 my classmates have done the presentation include me. They did very well in their presentation that i can know various of web to use for my future students. There's so many interesting web that we can use to make our teaching and learning more interactive.

As we know student in 21st century more interesting in technology, so we should make some preparation starting from now about what and how to make them love to study using all these technology. However, we must oversee them so that their learning can be more easy and not applicable abuse in technology.

Most of the web that have been choosen have games. colourfull, audio, and kinesthetic. All of this element are important in Early Childhood Education so that they can put more attention in class. I hope i can try them all to use with my future students. I think most of the web can give me idea on what to do and what to use. even there are some web that provide many teaching materials.

 we learned about TECHNOLOGICAL PEDAGOGYCAL CONTENT KNOWLEDGE (TPCK) that is a way of thinking about the knowledge teachers need to understand to integrate technology effectively into their classroom  (Mishra & Koehler,2008)

      

      Teachers' knowledge about subject matter to be learned that include of concepts, theories, idea, organizational frameworks, knowledge of evidence ad proof and practices

      

      In pedagogical content knowledge, teachers should knowledge of how students learn, general classroom management skill, lesson planning, student assessment, knowledge about techniques or methods used in the classroom, the nature of the target audience and strategies for evaluating student understanding. Besides that teacher should interprets the subject matter, finds multiple ways to represent it, adapts, tailors the instructional materials to alternative conceptions and students' prior knowledge.

      

      In technology knowledge, teacher will working with technology tools and resources. therefore, teachers should understanding and mastery of information technology for information processing, communication, and problem solving. In-addition, teacher need to understand which specific technologies are best for addressing subject-matter learning in their domains and how the content dictates or perhapseven changes the technology

    

      In technologycal pedagogical knowledge, teacher must know hoe teaching and learning can change when particular technologies are used in particular ways. also, understanding of the affordances of technology and how they can be leveraged differantly according to changes in context an  purpose.
